| Jeff
joined Radio Tees as Sports Editor and presenter of the
Saturday sport's show Tees Sport. Jeff is also a lifelong
supporter of Hartlepool United.
After leaving Tees in the early 80's he went on to work
for LBC Radio in London, before moving to BBC Radio 2's
Sport on 2, covering both the Los Angeles and Seoul
Olympics.
Jeff's moved into Television saw stints
as a sports newsreader at
TV-am,
Channel 4,
Eurosport and
British Satellite
Broadcasting.
In 1992 he joined Sky Sports becoming
the host of Sky's Soccer Saturday in 1994, where he can
still be seen today. Jeff has also hosted Channel 4's
Countdown show from 2009 until 2011.
 In 2007,
Jeff was awarded an honorary Doctor of Professional Studies
by the
University of Teesside and
in 2010 he was granted the title of honorary freeman of his
hometown of Hartlepool
