Les Ross joined Radio Tees in 1975 after 5 years working for BBC Radio Birmingham and was the first voice to be heard on the station.

He presented the Breakfast show until his departure in March 1976. He also presented a Saturday morning show with Record Librarian Wincey Willis.

After Tees, Les moved back to Birmingham to join BRMB taking over the Breakfast show from Adrian Juste.

Les left BRMB after 26 years at the station presenting shows on both the AM and FM services, to join Saga.

In 2005 Les rejoined the BBC and can be currently heard on BBC Radio WM, presenting shows at the weekend.
