| Roger
Lewis joined Radio Tees in 1983 and presented the
evening show Street Level.
He left Tees to join Capital Radio as a producer,
and went on to join the BBC where he became Head of Music at
Radio 1.
In the 1990’s he joined EMI Records as
Managing Director moving on to the
PolyGram group where he became world wide President of the Decca Record Company.
Roger was also Managing Director and Programme
Controller of Classic FM and a main board director of its parent company, the GWR
plc for six years. Roger then went on to become the
Managing Director for ITV Wales.

In September 2006, Roger was appointed the
new Group Chief Executive of the Welsh Rugby Union.
